A Feed-Forward Subnetwork Emerging from Integrated TOR- and cAMP/PKA-Signaling Architecture Reinforces Magnaporthe oryzae Appressorium Morphogenesis
​Network analysis by Sun and colleagues reveals anmpmi.2019.32.issue-5.cover.jpg intimate connection between nutrient-sensing and surface-sensing in Magnaporthe germ tube morphogenesis. Their results describe a collapsible subnetwork involving TOR and cPKA that modulates germ tube plasticity and adds to our understanding of understanding of cell cycle regulation, autophagy control and appressorial formation.
