Hotel Reservations

IS-MPMI has negotiated discounted hotel rates available only to IS-MPMI meeting attendees. 

Hotel reservations for the meeting must be made through the Travel Portland Housing Bureau. The special discounted hotel rates for the meeting are not offered if you call the hotel directly.

Deadline
Reservations must be made by Wednesday, June 20, 2016 to guarantee convention rates; unless the hotel has already been sold out. After that date, any rooms remaining will be released and rooms and rates will be based on availability. Please note that reservations will not be transferred into the hotel's reservation system until July 5, 2016. If you contact the hotel prior to this date, they will not have a record of your reservation. After July 5, 2016, please contact the hotel directly for changes to your reservation.

Confirmations
Confirmations will be e-mailed to attendees making reservations using the Internet or the call center. 

Room Deposit, Payment Methods, and Tax
All rates are per room per night and are subject to 14.5% tax (subject to change). Reservations will not be accepted without a valid credit card guarantee for each room reserved.
 
Cancellations
After June 20, 2016, rooms and rates are subject to availability. Cancellations within 72 hours of the day of arrival will be charged for one room night. Early departures are subject to penalties set by the specific hotels. Credit cards will only be charged if cancelled within the penalty period. A charge of the first night’s room and tax will be applied and/or forfeited if you do not cancel or do not arrive (no show).

IS-MPMI does not authorize outside booking agents for the IS-MPMI Congress. These companies may be offering hotel rates that are above/below the IS-MPMI discounted congress rates published on the IS-MPMI Congress website. No one can book hotel rooms at rates lower than IS-MPMI contracted rates over IS-MPMI Congress during the dates at the IS-MPMI designated hotels.
 
Many of these organizations ask for full payment upfront. Please also be advised that once you sign any agreements (i.e., credit card authorization forms), IS-MPMI cannot guarantee that you will get your money back. Be aware that reservations booked through these companies may not be honored by the IS-MPMI contracted hotels and IS-MPMI will not guarantee these reservations.
